"Medical science is constantly evolving, and it is important for doctors to stay updated with new developments to provide better patient care. To ensure this, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, including Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops, help medical professionals enhance their knowledge and skills." "Doctors are entitled to two CME programmes in a block of two financial years. Only one conference per financial year is permitted. For one year with TA/DA and the following year without TA/DA." "Applications must reach the Sanctioning Authority not later than 30 days prior to the commencement of the conference. ESIC has reviewed its policy on the participation of its medical professionals, including Insurance Medical Officers (IMOs), Specialists, Super-Specialists, and Teaching Faculty, in CME programs. Based on this review, revised guidelines have been prepared to regulate participation while ensuring the smooth functioning of ESIC healthcare institutions.
All medical professionals working in ESIC dispensaries, hospitals, medical colleges, and PG institutions must follow these revised guidelines.
The revised guidelines for conferences to be attended by doctors are:
Important: It is reiterated that applications must reach the Sanctioning Authority not later than 30 days prior to the commencement of the conference. This is essential to ensure timely completion of necessary documentation and approvals as per the rules.
All concerned are requested to strictly adhere to this timeline to avoid any processing delays.
Applications with incomplete information or deviations from the prescribed proforma will not be accepted or entertained.
